C2C2C was held for the first time in 2011, there were 79 riders, of whom 55 had never ridden the 100 mile distance before. The ride is held on a Thursday and aims to get local business men and women out of the office and onto their bikes whilst raising money for charity.
Riders start out at Lincoln Rugby Club, Nettleham and although the ride is technically unsupported there are feed stations provided at Hemingby (at 26 and 78 miles) and lunch is provided at the coast before returning to Lincoln Rugby Club for a well-deserved BBQ and beer.
The ride has grown significantly and receives great support, we were joined by 532 riders who participated in C2C2C2016, raising more than £21,000 for our chosen charities.
C2C2C2017 takes place on 29th June 2017, we are keen to get more teams entered this year and so we are asking last year’s entrants to spread the word about C2C2C to help us get more local business people off their office chairs and onto their bikes — there aren't many of us who couldn't do with a bit more exercise.
